Our Theatre Workshop with Rob

It was a Friday in October when a man named Rob from the Vienna English Theatre came to our school. He was from England and only spoke British English. At first, we thought it would be a boring lesson, but it was actually really fun!

We went to the art room and sat in a circle. Rob was funny, nice, and, as Julia said, very handsome! He told us we would play games and do acting. The first game was called Jellybean – we had to move around and make funny bean shapes whenever Rob shouted the name of a bean. Everyone laughed a lot.

Then we played Zombies. One person was the zombie, and we had to stop them from sitting on the free chair by sitting there ourselves. It was loud, crazy, and super fun because we didn’t really get the strategy. Sometimes Kaan tried to take the command After that, we played Splat, where we had to react really fast or get out.

We also had to make things with our bodies, like forming trees or books. Some people were really creative, and others… well, let’s just say they looked more like spaghetti than a tree. And later we acted short stories. One story was about Dan and a bully named Marco – some people made it really cool and others acted so silly that we had to laugh hard.

At the end, we played Zombies again – this time much better than before – and said goodbye to Rob. We all found him really great. He told us he was a British actor, which was cool.

When the day was over, we were all tired but happy. It was one of the best school days ever.
